Details

The Metallography Lab is used primarily by students of B. Tech Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering to develop a thorough understanding of major types of materials.

Students are taught experimental methods that help them analyze material behaviour under different types of loading conditions. They also study the microstructure of various metals, and the changes in property and microstructure due to the heat treatment process.
