It is a matter of immense pleasure for me to be a part of the M S Ramaiah University of applied sciences as Dean of Engineering & Technology. I take this opportunity of welcoming students coming from all parts of India joining the university in undergraduate as well as postgraduate programmes of Engineering. Most of such students have moved away from the folds of their family to this beautiful city Bangalore in their quest of knowledge. One needs to feel that they are just moving away from one family fold to another. Their teachers, seniors and peers, all form an extended family from whom they can look up for any guidance, support and help to move ahead in life as professionals in the study programmes they have opted.

All our programs are approved by AICTE and are designed in such a way keeping in mind the holistic growth of the students. Apart from making them industry ready, we also teach them to be better human beings through many value added courses. The mission of all our programs is to prepare our students to be life-long learners. Regular expert lectures, industrial visits, Internships makes our students job-ready and guides them in their career goal paths. FET also has a full-fledged career guidance cell. Further, FET focuses on the development of cognitive, interpersonal, and execution skills.
