Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (MME), FET-RUAS awarded a CARS Project titled ​‘Process Parameter Optimisation for Enhancement of Mechanical Properties of Hybrid Composites’ from Defence Materials and Stores Research and Development Establishment, DMSRDE-DRDO, Kanpur. The total value of the project is Rs. 55.035 lakhs.

The CARS project is awarded under the ​‘Development of Advanced Personal Protection Prototypes-DAP3’ . This involves the development of hybrid composite materials for Bullet Proof Jackets and Ballistic Helmets. This is a prestigious project to RUAS.
