Alumni meet was organized by Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering on 5^th August 2023 at RTC Campus. The response was overwhelming and more than 120 Alumni actively participated in the meet.

The whole program was conducted by the final year B.Tech Mechanical Engineering and Robotics students with the guidance of the faculty members. The meet commenced with the invocation by Mr. Arun Ravindra, Asst. Prof. Student Coordinators Mr. Ashray and Ms. Sanjana, welcomed the gathering. Ms. Zeeba delivered a poem specially written for the occasion by her. 

PG Alumni, Mr. Seenivasan, Mr. Vijayaraghavan, Mr. Rajeev , Mr. Vasuki Deshak, and UG Alumni Mr. Shahshank Kamat, Mr. Sudarshan –appreciated the initiative taken by the department, recollected their experience at MSRUAS/MSRSAS and offered to be available for any initiatives taken by the department for the progress of the students. 

Dr. B S Dayanada, HoD welcomed and thanked all the alumni for their presence and active participation. He requested senior alumni to support the department in helping the students to be industry ready and also suggested to have such meetings every year with clear agenda.

It was resolved voluntarily and unanimously by all Alumni that henceforth the Alumni Meet would be scheduled on 1^st Saturday of August, every year. 

Mr. Vivek, Alumni and Entrepreneur, proposed to support MME, RUAS to start an Innovation cell for Robotics. Some of alumni have also promised to extend support for Internship, Training and Placement activities.

Mr. BhanuPrakash, Alumni and a standup comedian, cheered the gathering and the students presented cultural activities. The meet concluded by a vote of thanks by Ms. Harshitha, final year Robotics Student.
