ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
Manufacturing industries have recognized AM technologies and, have started to consider AM as one of the enabling technologies that will transform the paradigm of manufacturing. Amazing capabilities of additive manufacturing have transformed production of critical components with complex geometries in the industries like Aerospace, Transportation, Energy, Consumer Products, and Medical. The objective of adopting AM technology is to develop superior products, produced at lower overall operational costs.
The efficient and effective implementation of AM technologies demands thorough knowledge and technology support in the following areas:

  • Additive manufacturing technologies and trends
  • Design of additive and custom manufactured metals components
